Today's bento for Veronica was a study in left overs. It is in a giraffe themed box with the (somewhat inexplicable) wording that says: "Around the year when we would like to stand on tiptoe." The dining selections include some pork chop cut up into bento friendly pieces, left-over julienne au gratin potatoes (from a box of course), the ubiquitous strawberries and carrots, some Hot and Spicy Cheese Its, plus a few chocolate granola bites. She is happy and will probably heat the potatoes in the microwave if it is available.

That looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks, that may be my favorite aspect of bento lunches - half a left-over chop, a smidge of potato, 3 strawberries and some crackers - it looks so festive here; in a baggie in a regular lunch box, not so much.

ReplyDeleteFunny! I would love to know what they thought they were saying.
I don't know, but this is far from the strangest saying. Wait for: Dolphins are our warmhearted guides to the masic world. And yes, the word is "masic".
